Cancellation Fees:

2.2. The applicable cancellation fees can be up to and above 100% of the the original quoted amount, if there are additional charges that have occurred.

Timelines for Cancellation:

3.1. If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled shipment booking, we require a minimum notice period of 1 business day (24 Hours) prior to the scheduled collection.
3.2. Failure to provide the minimum notice period may result in the assessment of cancellation fees.

Refunds:

4.1. If cancellation fees apply, any refundable amounts will be processed within 2-10 business days after deducting the applicable fees.
4.2. The refund will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.

Rescheduling:

5.1. If you wish to reschedule a shipment booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
5.2. We will make our best efforts to accommodate your request based on the availability of our logistics transporters.

Amendment or Termination:

6.1. We reserve the right to amend or terminate this cancellation policy at any time, without prior notice.
6.2. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to you promptly.

Please note that by not choosing insurance you waiver the right to claim against AK Consulting for damages or loss.

Should all the required information not be made available at the time of producing the Estimate, the Estimate is subject to change dependant on the variation of information supplied.

Further, the Estimate is subject to all ROE and 3rd party charges which are subject to change at any time.
Any Inspections, or Customs Examinations will be charged for at the applicable 3rd Party Cost. Should origin or destination be in an out lying area then the out lying surcharge will apply.

Although Sing Logistics Solutions T/A AK Consulting makes reasonable efforts to obtain reliable information from third parties, AK Consulting cannot guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information in this estimate. All rates and charges are subject to change without notice. AK Consulting shall not be liable for any loss or damage howsoever caused by the use of the estimate or reliance on its rates, charges and information. This estimate and all business is conducted strictly in terms of the AK Consulting Standard Terms and Conditions, a copy of which is available on request. E&OE

RESTRICTIONS AND SURCHARGES :
Special Handling of Export and Re-Import Shipments :
Should a client require a shipment to be re-imported after export, the handling of the shipment is subject to all conditions and information
being met and being available at the time of the request. Subject to terms and conditions.

Over Maximum Limits :
Packages with an actual weight of more than 30kg per piece, or those that exceed 270cm in length, or exceed a total of 419cm in length
and girth combineds (girth = (2 x width) + ( 2 x height) + length, are not accepted for transportation through the courier network. It is
possible for these pieces to be shipped via Courier or Airfreight, however special surcharges will apply.

Large Package Surcharge :
A package is considered a “Large Package” when its length plus girth (girth = (2 x width) + (2 x height) + length Exceeds 330cm, but does
not exceed the maximum size of 419cm. Large packages are subject to a Minimum billable weight of 40kg. In addition, the Large Package
Surcharge will be applied. The surcharge per package is in addition to the shipping charge.

Additional Handling Charge :
Additional handling is required, and the Additional Handling Charge applies, for the following:
- Any article that is encased in an outside shipping container made of metal or wood.
- Any cylindrical item, such as a barrel, drum, pail, or tyre, that is not fully encased in a corrugated cardboard Shipping container.
- Any package with the longest side exceeding 150cm or its second-longest side exceeding 76cm.
- Any package with an actual weight greater than 30kg
- Each package in a shipment where the average weight per package is greater than 30kg and the weight for each Package is not specified
on the source document or the automated shipping system used.

Extended Area and Remote Area :
Collection and Delivery Service - A surcharge will apply for any collections or deliveries to areas considered an extension of the standard
Service area. Depending on the ease of accessibility, these locations served, are classified as either an Extended area or a remote area.

Dangerous Goods :
These may not be moved via the Courier network, however, they may be moved via Airfreight, subject to acceptance by the Airlines, and
dependant on the specific Commodities. MSDS is required.
Further to the above, certain Countries have special Restrictions which can be investigated on a case-by-case scenario

Airfreight VS Courier Shipments :
Should the option of Airfreight Consolidation be nominated, it is imperative that all Suppliers are identified as being registered with
Custom prior to commencement of the shipment. Please ensure that the details reflected on your quotation above is correct.

Due to current deflucuations, rates of exchange and fluctuations in third party charges, figures reflected in this estimated quotation shall be subject to change.

We shall therefore be entitled to revise any of the calculations reflected on this estimated quotation, should any changes occur in specifications, rates, values, rates of exchange and any third party charges or any other charges applicable to the handling of the cargo which forms part of this transaction, or should we have made any error in calculating this estimated quotation. Please note that when your package is collected it will be weighed and measured once again. If this differs significantly from the provided infomation supplied by you,

we will need to recalculate the quotation.
